PCI-e does not work using Original kernel

Hi guys.

I am kevinpark developing PCIe Also I am newbie for PCIE and imx6

In order to work properly for PCIe
I just follow it in this siteand plug-in card into imx6rex B’d
but I failed to recognize for PCIeToUSB3.0 card that has been sold in the market

Log message like this below
iMX6 PCIe PCIe RC mode imx_pcie_pltfm_probe entering.
PCIE: imx_pcie_pltfm_probe start link up.
link up failed, DB_R0:0x0087cb00, DB_R1:0×08200000!
IMX PCIe port: link down!

Add a star to: make menuconfig -> System Type -> Freescale MXC Implementations -> PCI Express support
Add a star to: make menuconfig -> Bus support -> Message Signaled Interrupts (MSI and MSI-X)
Add a star to: make menuconfig -> Bus support -> PCI Express Support

So I checked H/W option out for PCIE
I connect registes up side for configuration of PCIE on the B’d

Could you help me out ??

Hello Kevin,

not all PCIE cards are recognized so simply. You may want to try couple of different cards or play with PCIE driver/register settings. I would recommend you try to go through Freescale forum, or try to use the cards you can see other people use with iMX6.
